Second
Opinion Standard is a Windows™ based image management and communication
software package that gives medical practitioners the
ability to share high resolution color images between
remote sites. The Second Opinion Demo allows you to
preview all of the features contained in the full
version. It is limited to 25 patient folders
and will expire 30 days from installation unless registered.
You can fill in the Demo Request form to receive a full CD-ROM that contains additional software, including an Off-site
Referral Form, documentation and more.
You will need a password before you can install any of
these files.
Please make sure your
computer meets
the minimum system requirements before installing. To capture
video clips, you will also need Microsoft DirectX Media 6.0 installed (this is included on the
CD-ROM). You can download either a single large file or multiple small files.

- Contact
us to obtain a password.
- Download the file to a temporary directory.
- Open the file.
- When prompted, enter the
password and
click Continue.
- Follow the instructions that appear
on your screen. If, during the installation, you are asked if you
wish to install DirectX Media, choose No since DirectX Media is
not actually included with the std4045 file.
- You may get a message similar to the
following at the end of the installation: "Error removing
support files. The directory cannot be removed." Please ignore this message.
- When installation is complete, read
the Second Opinion Readme located in Start, Programs,
Second Opinion for login and additional information.
- To activate your
program past the 30-day limit at no cost, register
with us.

- Contact
us to obtain a password.
- Download the files to a temporary directory.
- Unzip (using the
password) each file to a
different blank, formatted floppy disk. This will
create a number of files on that disk.
For example, if you are using the Pkunzip command line utility
type:
pkunzip -spassword std40d1.zip a:
- Read the README.DOC
file that appears in disk 1 and follow its
directions. If, during the installation, you are asked if you
wish to install DirectX Media, choose No since DirectX Media is
not actually included with the files you downloaded from here.
- To activate your
program past the 30-day limit at no cost, register
with us.

Second Opinion Standard
documentation is available
in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view it you need Acrobat
Reader 3.0 or later installed. All documentation is
also available on the
installation CD.
