EZClaim HCFA-Helper Medical Billing Add-In

Gardena, CA (December 15, 2001) — Second Opinion Software, LLC announced the release a medical billing add-in developed by CIM Consulting. With the help from the  Second Opinion Software Developer Kit, CIM Consulting was able to integrate their medical billing application with Second Opinion Professional.

EZClaim HCFA-Helper is a medical billing application that stores all your patient information, frequently used codes, and utilizes AutoFill libraries all of which allows you to fill in and print a claim form with just a few clicks of the mouse. There are three versions of EZClaim HCFA-Helper; Basic, Standard, and Professional. EZClaim HCFA-Helper Basic is suitable for people billing on paper HCFA-1500's only, and Standard is for billing electronically through a clearinghouse. EZClaim HCFA-Helper Professional has additional features that help billing for multiple doctors or for practices that use Quicken or QuickBooks for accounting. The professional version has the ability to store patients into different groups which helps organize and manage patient and claim data for multiple payers or doctors.

EZClaim HCFA-Helper is completely integrated and can replace the Demographics Form included with Second Opinion Professional. You can create or locate Folders/Patients in either application. Patients can be created off-line within EZClaim HCFA-Helper and when necessary Folders can be created automatically.  No double entry of information.
