Second Opinion License Agreement

Harbor City, CA (October 28, 1997) — Medical professionals in Texas will study the difference in image quality of pictures captured from video colposcopes versus 35 mm scanned slide or digital camera . Using Second Opinion Software (Gardena, CA, 310.538.2800) the sample images will be transmitted to three sites for comparison. According to Leah Lamb, MD, Program Director CARE Team, "the 'hub' sites in the proposed telemedicine network can consult and support the 'satellite' sites but only if an accurate image can be transmitted over the network." Results of the study will allow the Directors of the Children's Justice Act to make an informed decision about purchasing quality and affordable hardware for the telemedicine network.
