Second Opinion Software Used to Link State of Texas Telemedicine Network Project

Harbor City, CA (October 28, 1997) — Second Opinion Software has been chosen as the telemedicine software by the Children's Justice Act, Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, for their telemedicine network project. The goal of this project is to improve the accessibility to and the quality of child sexual abuse evaluations in the State of Texas, by creating a network of trained medical professionals who can conduct exams, preserve evidence, and consult with other professionals through the use of telemedicine.
