INFO: Scanned images don’t look good

Document ID: Q101002

This article applies to the following:
Product(s): Second Opinion Standard, Second Opinion Professional
Hardware: Scanners
Last Revised On: April 24, 2001

Summary

Images scanned from a desktop scanner, slide scanner, digital still camera, or other device show poor color quality.

Discussion

When you click on the Scan command, Second Opinion runs the program that you received with your scanner and waits for it to return a picture. To obtain the best quality image, you should adjust the size, trim, and color of the image while you are still operating in the scanner’s own program, before transferring it into Second Opinion. Consult your scanner’s documentation for instructions on how to make these adjustments.
