To
authorize a computer you must give Second Opinion Software your Computer
Id and a time-specific Session Id. If you enter an Authorization Code, the
Session Id will change the next time you start the Administrator program.
To
obtain these numbers:
- Click the Windows Start
button.
- Click Programs.
- Click Second
Opinion.
- Click Standard
Administrator or Professional Administrator.
- Log in (you must
have the ADMIN right to use the Administrator program. If you do not,
contact your system administrator). If you have not changed the sample
user accounts, you can log in using the following information:
| User
Name: |
Manager |
| Password: |
1234 |
- Click on the Registration
tab.
- Click Register
Application. The dialog box that appears will contain the Computer
Id and Session Code.
- Contact Second
Opinion Customer Support and provide the Computer Id and Session
Code. If necessary, you can close the registration dialog box and
exit the Administrator program if you cannot immediately contact
Customer Support. Repeat steps 1-7 to get back to the dialog box with
the same numbers.
- Customer Support
will return an Authorization Code and an optional Additional
Number; enter these in the spaces provided.
- Click OK.
- If you have
additional Authorization Codes, do not exit the Administrator program,
instead, click on the Register Application button and enter the
additional numbers.
Your application is now
registered.
